Dr. Gates grew up in Carrollton and graduated top of his class from the University of Central Oklahoma and the University Of Texas School Of Dentistry. When he is not working he enjoys traveling, exploring, time with family, and training his dog Duke. Duke just received his official status as a certified therapy dog and will be visiting local hospitals.

His emphasis on patient comfort is keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry which enables him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Gates has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical and root canal treatments. Dr. Gates also places a strong focus on his post-doctoral education using it in conjunction with the most state of the art technologies. He has been involved in placing over three thousand dental implants and has advanced training in conscious sedation.
